Welcome to the project Law Between Dialogue and Translation (The Example of Palestine)!

This project aims to look at law from the translational perspective. Focusing on Palestine, we want to understand more about how international law and especially international human and women’s rights are “translated” into national legislation and into judicial practice and public discourse.

In addition to the academic approach of legal dialogue and translation, we also want to create opportunities for a deeper cultural and personal dialogue between researchers and students from Palestine and Germany.

The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as part of the program Higher Education Dialogue with the Muslim World.
